Past

Have been spending most of my time home, either in front of the TV or in front of the computer.. It has been my daily routine....I know what you're gonna say..What a loser!
Well..I agree.. *sigh*

I remembered life used to be so exciting..

School in the mornings..
Having to visit grandpa and grandma..
Eagerly waiting for my uncles and aunties plus my favourite cuzzies..to sit down together and have lunch..
Being scolded for making so much screeching sounds with the fork..
Taking turns to wash the dishes..Wiping them dry...
Forming human chains to fill in the ice trays...
Watching cartoons in front of the TV together...
Snatching remote controllers...
Climbing the poles in the living room..
Splashin' water on the slides at the playground behind gram's house..
Rollerblades...and the Trash Trolley !!
Jumping across Gram's small pond with big fishes !
Washing the fountain pool...
Catching tadpoles...
Playing ' We're in working life '...
Singing songs...that we do not even know the meaning of em`..
Squeezing in the bathroom for a shower !
Waking up early just to roll sweetened-balls...
Playing '' Modeling "...
Chasing after the rats...
Playing ' Tetris ' ( the only game we enjoyed playin` together in our younger days )
Gettin` Gram's dogs to chase us...
Shakin` Gram's rambutan tree branches..and collect em`
Playing badminton..disturbing the neighbours..askin em to collect our shuttlecocks..
Water boats in Gram's pond..Always sunk by the fishes..
A,E,I,O,U games..
Hopscotch...

Phewhhh..and so many more...

Miss em` so much.. Would trade anything in the world just to experience that life again for just one more day.. = (

Life has changed pretty much..and I know I have..
My life as a kid was so exciting and adventurous...
Now everything has gotten serious..
Cousins are no longer visible to the eyes..and deaf to the ears..
Gram's house..has been as quiet as ever..
Now..

It's sad to stand alone beside the pond...
Alone in the living room...
The house compound seems so big to me..
The fruits on the trees are dying unplucked..
The bathroom is so dry....
Ice trays are always full...
TV not occupied..remote's just there..
No food on the table...Plates and glasses untouched..
Dogs always sleeping...
Fountain is dry...
No more tadpoles in the pond...

Aside from all those..
Grandpa and Grandma's aging without having their grandchildren around...
Worst still...They're always lonely... ( I guess everyone know how that feels.. )
It's sad thinking that,
I'm actually leaving them too... =(

I overheard Grandma and Grandpa talking..
Grandpa : I cannot finish these food ..It's too much..Help me eat the satays..
Grandma : Well.. I'll just leave it on the dining table..I'm sure the kids would love them..
Grandpa : What kids? There are no more kids around at home..
Grandma : No more kids? Yesssssssssssss...there are...Who says no? I'll just put it on the
table.. I'm sure they will enjoy the satays..

Grandma's memory tends to be poorer each day...
She tends to bring up memories in the past and live it..
I know she's sad and lonely...
She told me she would love to have kids playing around in the house like last time...
Being able to pamper them and play with them...
So I told her to wait...and look forward having greatgrandchildren...
She just smiled.......


I really don't want to leave but..
I'm sorry....I'll always have you in my heart...
